halloween day

halloween day! it was busy. we first had baby aiden over and then we all went to tyler street to hang out with mahala and noble's co-op buddies. then we went trick or treating with our buddies on spaulding street. how exhausting, but our little otter was happy. our starfish was too tired for most of the fun, but we got some good photos.

finally, mahala gets to be an otter. this was at her school celebration-held on thursday. she helped me mostly with the face, but was very patient while i made the rest of the costume. i told her "i don't sew very well, so this shouldn;t really be taking this long" and she would reply "you're the best sewer ever!" that's a good way to keep me making homemade costumes!

gettin' dirty in half moon bay

we went to half moon bay to see some friends and they took us to the beach where the kids proceeded to get VERY dirty. int he end we were able to clean up and get a nice family photo!

is he saying pumpkin?

yes, he is saying "pumpkin"-in his own way...he's been saying it for a while since we have so many pumpkins around the house!

we were so proud of mahala this year for drawing the face on her pumpkin all by herself. daddy helped her cut it out and here is the finished product!

nicasio pumpkin patch

before going to open houses up in the north bay, we visited the pumpkin patch in nicasio, surrounded by beautiful hills. fun was had by all, and mahala picked out some pumpkins to get us ready for the season.
