ms. honda's class did some planting to help restore an area in marin near a creek. the habitat will provide a green 'path' for animals and birds on their way to the bay and the plants also will help with erosion along the creek.

christmas morning
christmas morning started in our room with the kids bringing their stockings into our bed and then after a scrumptious waffle breakfast we opened gifts. we also opening gifts over facetime with the peters and ailors. noble's reaction is when he opened tickets for a cal basketball game!
gingerbread house time
anoop, vineetha and ethan came over for a long overdue visit and the kids decorated gingerbread houses
xmas in morgan hill
we spent the morning at home but then headed to morgan hill to join all of the franks and esparzas (except for a few missing). we feasted and opened gifts and...as always...played mafia.
xmas decorating
ammamma and appappan were in town for our very late christmas decorating extravaganza - a couple of weeks before christmas. we got one of the last trees in town (a headless tree as we called it). we couldn't bake cookies because our oven was broken but we made the best out of decorating! early christmas presents from ammamma and appappan were given to mahala and noble too :)

cirque du soleil

skating and basketball
david had a basketball game in santa rosa so we headed up there early to go skating with kayla and then had a quick dinner before watching david play - but then he got injured and had to leave early to go to the er...he ended up being fine and at least we got to watch him play for a bit :)
