we escaped the 95 degree heat today and headed into san francisco - a cool 72. it was a slow lazy day spent mostly outside in the grass and exploring the botanical garden. mahala had a great time taking photographs and thinks that one day, she can sell them to pay for her mansion....the ducks and the bridge are hers!

noble wanted to a take a hip hop dance class this summer like his good friend did during the school year sow e signed him up. all girls except for him but fortunately, the class assistant was a very talented and sweet 10 year old boy that became buddies with noble.

ammamma and appappan picked these plums while walking in the neighborhood and took most of them home with them to florida.

we treated ammamma and appappan to the pf's favorite restaurant - greens. dinner and dessert was enjoyed by all in a little semi-private room looking out on the bay.

mahala's bake sale

ms. santana's third grade class learned about an organization that helps orphans in africa and they decided to hold a bake sale to raise money for them. they made more than $200 by doing one morning and one afternoon bake sale!
