thank you to "chloe"

it turns out that "chloe", our real estate agent's dog, not only remembered noble's birthday and our anniversary, but remembered that big sisters need love too :) thank you to chloe (and her wonderful owners of course) !!

noble (and mahala) are having a lot of fun with the tools already! fortunately there are enough for both of them. we're glad that ammamma and appappan could watch on skype!

mahala's preschool graduation

mahala has officially graduated from preschool! last night was the big party at her school. it was a great event with the three different classes at CEID. here is a photo of her with three of her favorite buddies (kai, leela and tai), a video of a teachers' performance, and a video of mahala up "on stage". we are very proud of her!

back in may, this was our last day of co-op with the usual suspects....this was noble's last day as well as our caregiver's last day. the babies are morgan, sybille, lola and serene up front.

indian culture

mahala's school celebrated indian and pakistani culture the past three days. we joined them today and i led the two classes through the onam tradition of decorating the ground with flower patterns..."pookallam". mahala, noble and i plucked all the petals off of many marigolds to get enough flowers so that everyone could have a chance at laying out some flowers. i may have to do this again when real onam time comes in a couple of months-mahala and noble really got into it.
