stylin' rider

cal day with kai and leela

saturday was cal day at the campus and we went with some preschool friends, kai and leela. most of the day was spent wandering around the campus and then finishing our day at yogurtland. we also had the chance to pet some snakes and spiders. in the photo, mahala is holding a type of tarantula. the dance performance was the first thing we went to and i was thrilled that all the kids, including noble, sat quietly and were fascinated by the whole performance.

bicycle riders

since school was out, we went bike riding one afternoon on the playground. they had so much fun that it was not surprising that they both had meltdowns as we left!

roy's redwoods

trying to explore all of the great trails here in marin county! a spontaneous outing after school to roy's redwoods in the next town over. turns out that after the rainy season, the trails are still filled with water so we did not get far, but as always, the kids had fun in the creek.

tea time with the princess

we were royalty that day-we made crowns and had a very civil tea time (chamomille-his favorite). he really seems to enjoy dressing up these days. he was the princess and i was the baronness (mahala was at school) and later he even wore a cape.

easter egg count

noble has been counting really well lately. here he is counting AND holding a peep in his hand :) he does it often but if we ever get up past the 20s, he refuses to say thirty for some reason!
