ammamma and appappan visit

ammamma and appappan's first visit to fairfax and to our new house! we all went to the exploratorium, for tide pooling in bolinas and of course for some fun at the park/creek. after seena and quinn left, we went bowling and for a tour around fairfax including mahala's school.

seena and quinn visit

quinn and seena's first visit to our new home. the cousins had plenty of time to hang out at home. on the way to the airport to pick up ammamma and appappan, we stopped in berkeley for vik's food and the carousel.

our new home (clean!)

tahoe fun with the grandparents!

thanks to some friends of ours who have a house in tahoe, we were able to take a last minute trip to tahoe with grandma and papa. we stayed only two nights but it gave the kids a chance to at least see snow once this year...and they got to see some snowfall as well - although light. the kids sledded, everyone tried to make a snowman, hot cocoa for the kids and movies in our warm home, but the highlight may have been snowball fights with all of us included - even grandma and papa!!!

mahala's friends

backyard friends (salamanders) that mahala adores. she has become quite the play date for kids who are also bug/lizard lovers!

ethan's visit

vineetha, anoop and ethan came by to see our new place. the kids had a blast playing together....in the video, ethan makes a score despite noble's fancy goalee moves! and even vineetha had to get in onthe fun :) the kids also spent some time digging who-knows-what but they had fun doing it.

cinderella!

noble loves our new vacuum cleaner AND the cinderella costume that a friend passed down to us. poor "cinderella" always had to do the work, right?
