neighborhood deer

they have eaten more than their share of our garden but yet we all love watching them. beautiful deer roam around the neighborhood everyday, and many times we catch fawn too.

shaving cream fun

it all started with an art project that uses shaving cream and paint to marbelize paper. then they decided to just play around with shaving cream in a tray. fun stuff!

heart's desire beach

a new favorite beach on tomales bay! perfect for the kids and for a nice picnic.

summertime fun!

an impromptu sleepover with emeline included lots of summer time fun: sprinklers, dinner outside, ice cream and painting with their own "earth paint" which they worked very hard to make (scraping bricks, finding the right dirt etc).

grandma georgia's celebration of life

her incredible family came together to celebrate in atascadero. enjoying the summer air and stories about grandma georgia. watching her 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren play together (and sleep together in a huge tent!).

orlando

to kick of the summer we spent a week and a half with ammamma and appappan...and their pool! the kids really progressed with their level of comfort on the water. aunt seena and quinn also joined us for a portion of our trip. and we were fortunate enough to be there for both father's day and ammamma's birthday!

dallas

before heading to orlando, we stopped over for the weekend to spend time with my cousin betty and her family. we got to meet her kids for the first time and we were also lucky to see my aunt and uncle who are in town from india to help with betty and sushil's second baby, maria. mahala and noble had SO much fun with anna who is almost 5. they spent most of the time getting wet in various pools, water parks and fountains! they are still wondering when they are going to see her next :)
