douglas's 49th!!

douglas wanted to head to the sf side of marin for his birthday so we headed outside near the gg bridge and then headed for a fancy schmancy meal in sausalito. then home to have the treat!

hoglunds visit

we always love a visit from he hoglunds! this time it was dinner at home, tennis and ice cream and then a slumber party :)

elephant seal rookery

hearst castle

we stopped at hearst castle on our way home. the weather was beautiful, the flowers were in full bloom and the tour was excellent.

spring break in cambria

our spontaneous spring break brought us to an amazing place that i am surprised we never visited. our hotel across the street from the ocean and hearst castle and an elephant seal rookery were close by. the kids spent a lot of time in the pool but we also took advantage of the great tide pooling.

noble's music class

the third graders had their spring music class open house. lots of dancing, singing, xylophones and drumming!
