happy birthday noble!

noble turned one on august 12. with ammamma and appappan in town along with aunt seena, uncle eric and cousin quinn, AND all the usual bay area family on the frank side, it was quite a week. we had a party at a park by the bay and he was very happy about having his cupcake with whipped cream!

mahala cannot read yet, but that does not stop her from making up a great story for her little brother who seems to appreciate it. too bad she noticed me-i wanted to see how that story would end!

granted, there were bumpers on the bowling alley and it was only a 6 lb ball-but i thought this shot was pretty good. this is the first time mahala has gone bowling. she didn't think it was all that! she was distracted by the video games and other stuff at the bowling alley and was not a big fan of the shoes!
