easter 2013

we missed all of the franks this year due to illness but we had a good time coloring eggs and finding them the next day hidden inside this year because of wet weather. we had waffles with cream and berries for breakfast and the kids helped make egg salad with some of the eggs for lunch.

fun school events

noble's class did a music demonstration for the parents, mahala's class had a make-your-own-pizza party to celebrate good work in class, and the whole school celebrated dr seuss for spirit day. one of douglas's nicknames for the kids is "thing 1" and "thing 2" so this was perfect!

three fairfax hikes

three beautiful hikes within 10 minutes of our house. one in west fairfax, one at bon tempe lake and one in the hills above the school with a labyrinth.

ski break at mount shasta

a beautiful stay near mount shasta during spring break. the kids finally got to go skiing thanks to nikki and brady, our shasta ski escorts!
