mahala's indoor soccer team

indoor soccer season is over although with this kind of weather we could have played outdoors all winter! annie coached during the 7 or 8 games and the girls had a great time. skill levels were all over the place but came together and worked well as a team!

school play

the school play this year was "beauty and the beast" and it was a great performance with tons of singing, dancing, props and sets all taking place in the awesome san anselmo playhouse. mahala was the narrator, sausage curl girl, wolf, and napkin. she danced, she sang and had a fantastic time. completely exhausted by the end though, after 6 performances in three days….

jon agee day

author jon agee visited the school today and in honor of this, the kids got to dress up like his book characters from "the other side of town". douglas did an amazing job with noble's hat! and mahala made her own!

noble's music class

every year mr santucci, music teacher extraordinaire, invites parents to watch a music class. they do dances and sing and  play the xylophones

lawrence hall of science

a fun field trip with the first graders to lawrence hall of science in berkeley. page was noble's "lab partner" as they made slime!

monterey with the milsteads

we had a fantastic "ski" week in monterey…our dreams of going to shasta were changes by a major drought in the area. so we decided on a beach house in monterey. it was a beautiful week and the beach was right outside the back door. we went with the milsteads and the five kids had a blast collecting sand dollars and chasing very cold waves. the adults got to have conversations - imagine that - because the kids were so entertained by each other. who needs a five hour drive to the snow? definitely going back to this place!
