watching david shoot hoops

david was a playing a few games in san rafael this weekend so we surprised him and came to watch! very exciting games! i think noble may have even more interest in basketball after seeing such fun games!

sadness and bagpipes

the kids were very upset at the end of the visit - it was really miserable. the bagpipes played on douglas's phone as we paraded sadly back to our house after brunch...

bonding time

the family came up for mahala's play. noble had some good bonding time with the grandparents while mahala was at her play rehearsals.

noble's 2nd grade fairy tale ball

this was by far the fastest costume i have ever put together. noble wanted to dress up as a knight so some spare red fabric and a paper cross taped to his shirt did the trick. daddy's belt was the finishing touch!

kids were inspired to make burritos - and wrapped them as they do in the local taquerias. yum :)
