finally got to the MOMA!!!

noble's sleepover

since mahala has had um-teen sleepovers, it was noble's turn. for no particular reason but he considered it a half birthday celebration (without presents and cake!). magnus, alden and sydney came over. They were so tired that right after dessert, they all went on to brush their teeth and got into bed without us asking....!!

charmian had a small studio concert this weekend. all the students played a song or two and mahala had a chance to play with a cello teacher and two of her orchestra classmates. 'swashbucklers saga' sounded awesome!

noble's restoration fieldtrip

ms. honda's class did some planting to help restore an area in marin near a creek. the habitat will provide a green 'path' for animals and birds on their way to the bay and the plants also will help with erosion along the creek.

christmas morning

christmas morning started in our room with the kids bringing their stockings into our bed and then after a scrumptious waffle breakfast we opened gifts. we also opening gifts over facetime with the peters and ailors. noble's reaction is when he opened tickets for a cal basketball game!
